Spencer Lemmons speaks to United Steel Workers’ Union panel about upcoming election

Republican candidate for Indiana’s 1st Congressional seat Spencer Lemmons spoke on Tuesday to a panel of representatives from the United Steel Workers’ union.

Spencer was asked a variety of questions about his campaign, specifically about right to work laws, steel tariffs, how a single payer system would negatively impact unions, and how his role as Northwest Indiana’s representative in Congress would require an ongoing dialog with the unions on a regular basis to best represent District 1.

As District 1’s Congressman, Spencer Lemmons pitched regular meetings with all Northwest Indiana’s union to discuss pending legislation and the needs of the unions as they pertain to the economy.

In the upcoming weeks before the May 5th 2020 Primary Elections, Spencer will be speaking with several other unions in Northwest Indiana. If your union hasn’t heard from the Spencer Lemmons campaign, please reach out to the campaign directly so that we can schedule a date in the near future that your union can make their concerns heard to the campaign.
